There was a lot of misunderstanding over the Australian retailer's pricing a few weeks ago (apparently, a lot of folks are unaware that Australia and the US both use the dollar sign), so a new American currency option has been added to the website that should make it crystal clear to everyone that prices start at $659 USD, excluding GST (which no one outside of Australia has to pay).

Hmm. That can’t be right. I confirmed that the code was open to everyone (not just people in the US) before I wrote up the news, so it must be a glitch. I’ve passed the info to Justek, who will look into what’s going on. I’ll keep you posted.

The code works, until you get to Paypal and it still wants to charge shipping!

Justek have confirmed there is a problem with paypal still charging shipping on some destiniations (it may just be a UK thing).
It will be fixed soon.
For those that can’t wait, they have said they will refund the shipping portion as soon as they see the order come in. (It’s night time there, so be patient!)
