While Nissan North America thinks charging $800+ for the ClarionMiND is a fair price for the ownership and installation of a mobile internet navigation device that carried an MSRP of $649 at launch, is now selling the very same Atom-based MID for the lower-than-ever price of just $229.99.

Perhaps even more amazing than the $400+ cut is that the price only applies to the black unit, which is rarely eligible when the WiFi/Bluetooth/GPS-enabled device goes on sale and presumably the more popular choice. The white and red ClarionMiNDs are currently listed at for $460 and $499, respectively, so the black's price is pretty extraordinary.
