Though there is little hope in ever seeing this outside of China, Tainell has a new Atom-powered MID that deserves to be brought into other regions and could probably find a Viliv-inclined audience to welcome it with open arms.
The 6.1" x 3.5" x 1.0" silvery white slate runs Windows XP on a 1.1GHz Atom Z510 processor and 1GB of RAM and features a 5" touchscreen boasting a resolution of 1024 x 600. It also has a 32GB SSD, VGA webcam, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 3G. This all sounds a little too good to be true for a company that most have likely never heard of, but if the listed specs are to be believed, then you can expect the Tainell T500 to have USB and miniUSB ports, microphone and earphone jacks, a power port, and HDMI scattered on its sides. Interested?
Thanks, Cooler!

Very interested. Obviously the price and battery life have a big bearing on that interest!
Great specs, but hideous & a 1.1GHz ruins things
Do they have a 7″ version? And yes, the 1.6GHz Atom isn’t that much more expensive that they shouldn’t use it.
Other than that, I’d agree: The specs sound almost to good to be true …
That is the product that they should do with Webcam in the middle. Just post now some comments for the (“N900″ new N810) very similar description.
I think that is too big a portable device should not be bigger then 12 centimeters.

Would be interesting to hear other side on this
story. Otherwise this would be even more scandalous
than a joke.
