In honor of the Dell Streak's upcoming release in Australia, the company's Australian team organized a flash mob in Sydney to promote and generate interest in the device.
The dancers aren't as in sync as they should be (if 20,000+ people can get it together for Oprah, 20 or so folks should be able to pull it off for Dell) and the Streak isn't shown nearly enough, but at least Dell Australia is doing something creative (nevermind that flash mobs are a little passé). The effort to stage a video that could have gone viral if it were done better is there, so kudos for that.
Video below.
Thanks to TheDellSteak in our forum for finding the video!

Really cool advertising. Hope the sales would be better than in UK =)
Don’t see how this will help sales, but it is funny as h3ll
Pretty fun, although the tie-in to the Streak is fairly weak.
Someone on the Pocketables forum said, “Better than the US launch,” and I couldn’t help but thinking “Yeah, better than dead silence and crickets chirping in the background.”
I think this is about the time Dell should come out and say ” Competition to create the best Dell ad”
The streak is 20% off on dell university.
competition to create the best products. We dont need the best ad from dell.sales of streak were way behind droid X and samsum Galaxy S.Dell know why and they should learn something from that.
