We have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of Acer's Iconia Tab A100 tablet ever since we first saw it at CES and Mobile World Congress. In case you have forgotten why we want this tablet so badly, allow me to remind you that the device crams a Tegra 2 processor, 1024 x 600 display, dual cameras, and Android 3.0 all into a 7-inch tablet.
Unfortunately, problems with Honeycomb on 7-inch displays caused some delays in availability. Last month, we were tempted by a price tag that showed up at Walmart, but the tablet still has not made its way into retail stores. However, for those of us who want to get our hands on this as soon as possible, the device has just shown up on for preorder on a couple of websites. The price ranges from $329 to $390, but unfortunately neither retailer can offer a date when your money will be rewarded with a tablet.
The opportunity to preorder this tablet is certainly exciting, but I would be a bit hesitant about handing over my hard-earned cash to these websites. If you want to try your luck, you can hit up the source link for the preorder page, but for now I am going to try to wait for a trusted retailer to offer the device.

I saw one yesterday at Walmart sitting next to a Xoom and Playbook. I got to play with it for a bit. Seemed pretty quick, but I wasn’t able to load up games because of a lack of internet and the required download before playing. I’m not used to the honeycomb interface, so it was a little hard to navigate around.
A 1530mAh battery? Who are they kidding? That’s almost as small as smartphone batteries!
