Only days after Sense 3.5 was caught on video, some very hardworking developers have already ported it over to several devices include the Droid Incredible, the Incredible 2, and now the HTC EVO 4G.
Kinged Bliss Sense 3.5 is the name of the new custom ROM, and it is brought to you by Team Nocturnal and eVoKINGS, in addition to a few other developers who have made various contributions. Based on a system dump from the HTC Bliss, this Sense 3.5 ROM allows landscape viewing of the homescreen and app drawer and new notification options, including the ability to create resizable notification widgets directly on the homescreen.
Check out the video above for some awesome footage, but just keep in mind that it's still considered an early beta and users are reporting issues with WiFi, the camera, and SD mounting. However, if that's not enough to keep you away, and if you are feeling adventurous today, then flash it and let us know what you think.
At the very least, you'll have bragging rights that your version of Sense is higher than that on the HTC EVO 3D … for the moment.
Wait? What? CM and SalvageMod have had 2.3.5 running. I’ve been running either the CM nightlies and now the SalvageMod release for about week.

sense blows, I especially like that it’s so damn big that there’s almost no room or applications.
This looks great. I will wait for it to get out of beta before flashing it, but I like sense 3.5 so far from what I have seen. I am running MikG 2.1/3.0 right now and I really have become a sense fan again. 1.0 got old really fast, but the newer versions are looking really nice.

many have seen the back and forth discussion / argument… I can confirm Virus isn’t selling out. He’s helping my brother in law who has never done a rom or know how for that matter, do one from scratch so he can learn how. And he didn’t charge a thing, Virus is a huge asset to us as a community… and if you look, his accusations of having work stolen… there’s proof if you look into it, and into the code… Its a shame he backed out of this Port because of the BS, lets hope he releases his Port that he was going to share with King as Virus’s has everything working, while Kings is still beta….

don’t get your hopes up… the argument amongst devs, and the constant slander back and forth from the keyboard junkies who were not even involved with the port have gotten the thread closed…. WIP just became a work no longer in progress….
They are still working on it, just not on xda. Look on team nocturnal’s site or kings site and its there. They even have a newer updated version than the one that was on xda.
Actually it was cappychimp who provided the initial port. Virus didn’t have anything to do with it until king asked for help. But something due to the way it was compiled made virus have to report the whole rom and that’s when the ish hit the fan.
Sense 3.5 is great, but some of the features are not available for usage (Fb Chat, Wireless Tethering, Facebook Sync, etc.) are there any with these problems fixed. Then there is a message that pops up from time to time about android.process.acore – force close – uh, what is this
Otherwise, I can’t complain – I’m loving it!!!!
