We have known for a while that DJ_Steve has been working on an Ice Cream Sandwich ROM for the Dell Streak 7, and now, it's finally available. Thanks to him and Giveen, you are now able to take part in indulging on Google's latest dessert.
All you've got to do to get the latest version of this ROM on your tablet is download the file linked below and, providing that you have NVFlash drivers installed and your device is in NVFLASH mode, unzip it and install it onto the device.
Note: This is still a beta release, so if you try to install this and something goes wrong, keep in mind that you agreed to install beta software. If you do get it working, tell us how it went!

Beta 3 should be released sometime as well, as soon as DJ_Steve thinks its ready, which should do a proper hardware acceleration.
We with our streak 5 r also on row…plz plz plz…dont forget us…because having 2’3’3 with ur support in such a nice experience…i m thankful to u guys for taking us with u…otherwise dell is like just forget us

Hey, so I installed this driver without a hitch, and it works very well considering the driver limitations! It is easy to install, and no more tine icons on Honeycomb!

Don’t just jump in and try to do this flash. Make sure you go to the forums and learn about doing backups and the risks involved in flashing custom ROMs.

If any apps are removed and you didn’t back up, you can just log on to the market again and reinstall. But you should really backup your data and apps because it will take a long time to redownload all those apps and market does not save your data.
When will ics for streak 5 will be done?
Beta 3 not to bad was able to flash over froyo most apps and games don’t work on ics so don’t expect much great progress though.I like that i had over 14gb of user space compared to the just over 11gb you get with froyo cant wait for future releases

Dell Streak 7 HC ROM power management is weak.
Not sure whether ICS ROM has this issue fixed or not.
