Not long after the Android Market turned into the Google Play Store, it's already getting its first update, which adds some nice additional functionality and features:
- There are now two tabs under My Apps: "Installed," which lists all currently installed apps on your device; and "All," which lists any apps you have ever installed, just like in the web version of Google Play. This includes all free and purchased apps that aren't uninstalled yet.
- There's now a dropdown menu with all Google accounts that are linked to your phone, making it much easier to switch between accounts.
- Several stock apps that never linked properly to the Play Store have now been fixed, meaning all stock apps will now receive updates properly, like they should.
- Reviews now show what device the reviewer is using, and can now be sorted by most helpful or newest.
- Additionally, reviews can be sorted to show only ones for the latest version of the app.
And as always, this update seems to be rolling out very slowly, but you don't have to wait around to get it automatically on your HTC EVO. Just click here to download the apk now, or check out the source link below.

After updating now I cant remove the following up from showing up in the “Manual Updates”:
Blockbuster for HTC
mSpot Radio
Nascar Sprint Cup Mobile
These apps are NOT on my device, but they show up there! Any advice on how to remove them? I am not rooted.
Hopefully after the HBOOT downgrade is made easier, I plan to move forward and get myself rooted.
Anyone experience this after the update?
Now that I upgraded every app that I ever installed and deleted is showing up and I have no way to get l that crap off. That really sucks. Hope they upgrade real quick with a fix.
AGREED!!
I didn’t realize I had downloaded so many different little free apps over the years. Plus there were two mysterious ones at the bottom that said they were currently “Installed”. (One was Teeter- why would that be in the Market? The other seemed to have something to do with some apps2sd hack. Creepy either way – no uninstall option either!)
It seems that this version of Google Play Store is linking apps that you might have downloaded via Amazon Appstore or sideloaded. Of course the signatures don’t match if you try to update them.
Teeter being in the list is really weird though because that’s an HTC pre-loaded app. Hopefully Google fixes the faux Google Play Store links.
