Notes Plus is an app I’ve mentioned in the past, but one that I haven’t actually used much or kept up-to-date with due to some issues I have with it compared to GoodNotes. With all the Taposé talk on the site lately I thought I would aim the spotlight at this app for a bit though, since it actually has some features that are also very much like the Courier, and in turn, Taposé. What’s more, it has a hand writing recognition feature that I must say is very impressive. The video will do most of the talking for this piece, so enjoy what Notes Plus has to offer. Hit the link below to get the app, but be warned that it’s $7.99, and the handwriting recognition is another $2 on top of that.

Hi,
I do not know if this article comes as a response to my Facebook comment, so it is very welcomed. However,I believe that Note Taker HD and Notes Plus are the leaders in note taking (and If I may suggest they will making your note taking life much much simpler).
Hi, it was just a coincidence unfortunately, I always forget to check our facebook page and hadn’t seen your comment – sorry about that! I actually bought Notes Plus over a year ago, and it’s been on an off my iPad ever since. I had it on there now because someone else asked about iPen compatibility. It’s very capable, but as I think I mentioned in the video, the reason why I don’t use it is that it won’t let you zoom out beyond fitting the page width to the screen. Such a small, simple feature, yet a dealbreaker for me. Also, iPen support would have to be there these days for me to use it. Was very impressed with the handwriting recognition though
I actually also have a “license” (= once purchased) Note Taker HD, but I’m not a fan of the somewhat unique UI. Just personal preference though
