In case you missed the one-day sale at Fry's last week, which saw 32GB micro SD cards for $20, Amazon's got a similar promotion going on right now: you can pick up a 32GB SanDisk class 4 micro SD card for only $22.89. The normal asking price for this card is $90.99, so this represents a savings of $68.10, or 75% off.
In addition to offering a lot of storage for only a little bit of cash, the SanDisk name has a much better reputation than Patriot, which a few G&E readers pointed out is known for a high failure rate. In fact, SanDisk's quality is so good that this class 4 card has been observed to be twice as fast as cheaper class 10 cards in some benchmark tests.
This card has received overwhelmingly positive reviews on Amazon, comes with a micro SD card adapter, and will be shipped for free to your house in two days if you're already a Prime member. And with this deal arriving in the weeks before preorders start for the HTC EVO 4G LTE, it couldn't have come at a better time.

Update: A SanDisk 32GB micro SD card, along with an Everything But Stromboli card reader, is also available on Amazon right now for only $22.75. (Thanks, Peter!)

In all fairness, the price of $90 is overblown. These cards (32gb) can be bought all day from reputable sources for about $30. That being said, $20 is a good deal. You can also get the 64GB MicrosSDXC for about $80 as well; they work with my Epic Touch 4G and Evo View 4G.
i went out to fry’s the other day because i saw the post here about the patroit 32gb micro sd card and bought it for 20 bucks or so, great deal? NO, since then my phone is having all kinds of problems. when i keep trying to flash my rom ive been using for 3months all kind of things keep going wrong from force closing of major system functions, to not being able to perform a nanorid backup of my settings. it is one headach after another. just when i thought everything is perfect, some else false and i have to wipe and re flash all over again. so i just bought is sandisk one on amazon.. fingers cross when it comes it work like it should. till then i’ll have to go back to the 16gb sd card. jezz
Patriot 32 Gb micro sd is 27.00 regular priced at fry…
I’m not sure how a card would cause those problems unless you’ve moved something to it that you shouldn’t have. Even when my old card failed completely, my rom would still load.
More than likely the apps that are force closing were stored on your SD card or had atleast the data needed to run on the sd card. I recommend copying EVERYTHING from the old sd card on to your hdd then copy to the new sd card.
Thanks for this post. I just ordered and will set it aside for when I get my EVO 4G LTE.
Cool beans. Now I only need to find out how to move all my “App to SD” apps to the new card. Or is there really no easy way?
EDIT: Also, of special note is that the first link is Prime-eligible, but the second one isn’t, if this is of importance to any Prime customers.
$17 here:

If I click the link you provided I only see the $17.49 price if I choose one of their Featured Merchants and then I have to pay $4.99 shipping. It’s 6 cents cheaper with the shipping costs than what I pay at the main link with free Prime shipping. Of course with Prime I’m getting 2 Day shipping which usually ends up being 1 day with most things I order.
Perhaps this is sold out from Amazon and only 3rd parties are left? I’m not able to use my prime membership.
Snagged one up, thanks!
