If you don't have Bluetooth enabled in your car, HTC and Sprint have just what you've been looking for: the official HTC Car StereoClip is now for sale from Sprint for a cool $59.99. This tiny accessory is equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack that will plug into your car's auxiliary port, along with an 85mAh battery that provides 5 hours of streaming playback and 120 hours of standby time. It will pair seamlessly with the HTC EVO 4G LTE or any device in the HTC One Series.
Of course, this accessory will also work with any Bluetooth-capable phone from any carrier, although HTC device owners get the benefit of automatic pairing.
The HTC Car StereoClip supports Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR (minimum), Advanced Audio Distribution Profiles (A2DP), and the CSR aptX codec. It also automatically powers off to conserve battery power, hopefully minimizing how often you'll have to charge it. AT&T is also expected to carry this accessory soon.

What good is this if the signal is not wireless converted to a fm signal that your radio can play back , I all ready have a aux 3.5 wire running from phone to radio aux the cord is 2.99
I’m working on a bluetooth stereo cassette adapter for streaming car audio or home audio
The biggest flaw is it uses a battery. Having to keep this charged all the time would be a pain. I wonder if you could plug it into a USB plug while in use? That would be clunky anyway. As a matter of fact I think this design is clunky regardless having to have a device stick out of your 3.5mm headphone jack that far.
I personally use a BT adapter that plugs into my “Power port” (cigarette lighter.) Similar to this: http://www.amazon.com/Griffin-Technology-BlueTrip-iPhone-Smartphones/dp/B004KPLS7K/ref=pd_sim_hg_1
It is MUCH nicer since my port is right next to my radio and it has a short cord that plugs into the 3.5mm headphone jack.
Wherever your port is located this type does not stand out and you never have to worry about power. It is just there!
BTW there is a cheaper/better option if you do want this type.

Supposedly the draw of this one is that it uses BT 4 and the CSR aptX codec for streaming, which could potentially sound better than the more compressed BT 2 A2DP.
You can just leave it plugged into a 12V USB charger you know, and you don’t have to leave it sticking out of your aux port either, just get a short 3.5mm extension. Depending on your car’s console design a unit that plugs directly into the 12V port may or may not look cleaner.
$60 for wireless solution, $3.00 for aux cable. Yeaahh…it’s a no brainer.
“…. now for sale from Sprint for a cool $59.99″
…not cool.
My cassette adapter works just fine. No batteries needed.
Slightly off topic, but I picked up the vehicle mount today ($35) from Sprint and it has a removable filler to allow for the phone with a case to fit in it. Something that kept me from buying the car kit for my OG Evo.
What a Rip Off!!!!
Where does it say it’s bluetooth 4.0? It only says 2.1 in the description
