After almost four days of having to tolerate a stock rooted HTC EVO 4G LTE, the flash happy users among us can now enjoy viperROM eLiTE, the phone’s first custom ROM.

ViperROM features the viperControl script, which allows you to overclock, underclock, adjust voltages, fix a damaged /misc partition, and adjust the brightness of the backlit capacitive buttons. It also ships with WiFi Tether, a modified stock kernel, and several tweaks to the system to produce better multitasking. GooManager is also present, which should allow you to grab future incremental updates to the ROM from the EVo.

ViperROM offerings for the EVO 4G and 3D were always well produced, snappy, and stable, so I expect the 4G LTE flavor to be just as tasty. Let us know how it goes if you decide to try it out.
