If your HTC EVO 4G LTE is rooted, and because of that you’ve been waiting to accept the OTA update that became available earlier today, good news: developer xHausx has just released a stock rooted version of the ROM that is ready for you to download and flash right now.
The ROM is based off of 1.22.651.3, and currently only an odexed version is available, although the developer says he is working on a de-odexed version that should be available later tonight. Some people are complaining about a force close here or there, although xHausx is aware of the problem and is working on a fix.
This update fixes a few common complaints that people had about the EVO 4G LTE, including some WiFi bugs and random power cycles that plagued a few users. Additionally, Google Wallet is finally working like it should be.
Download links are below, and as always, perform a nandroid backup before flashing anything, just to be on the safe side. And if you’re running a more customized ROM, your developer is probably already working on incorporating this update, so stay tuned.

Do you know the easiest way to install this and will it erase everything?
You need to be HTCDev unlocked or S-OFF. Install TWRP 2.2.0 custom recovery through Goo Manager and flash the linked ROM from recovery. It is a very good practice to wipe the data partition as well as cache and Dalvik cache before installing any new ROMs, so yes, you will lose everything besides the SD card contents. Not a big deal though, just backup everything with Titanium Backup prior to flashing and then restore user apps and data after you install the new ROM.
The OTA update included new firmware that is not part of the posted ROM, so you will have to flash that separately.
