Verizon postpones its Samsung Galaxy S III release date to July 12

sgsiii - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

The Samsung Galaxy S III is obviously a very popular device. There have already been delays for the device on other carriers like Sprint and T-Mobile – and Verizon has announced that the same thing is happening for its version, as well.

Previously, the Verizon Galaxy S III was scheduled to be released on July 10 – tomorrow. But if you head over to Verizon’s Galaxy S III webpage, you’ll find that it’s been pushed back to July 12. If you were one of those who preordered the device, your device could be on its way already. In fact, you might even have it already, as a few preorderers have already gotten their handsets.

If you didn’t get the chance to preorder, just wait for Thursday to come and you’ll get the chance to buy one. Prices are relatively cheap for a Verizon phone: $199.99 for 16GB and $249.99 for 32GB, both on contract.

Let us know if you’re going to be getting a Verizon Galaxy S III, if you’ve already got one, or if you’re interested in a different device.
