Deal alert: Tetris is free in the Amazon Appstore today only
Even though I still don’t consider myself a mobile gamer, there are more and more games I’ve been downloading and playing on both my HTC EVO 4G LTE and my ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity. And now I can get another, and this time for free: for today only, Amazon is offering Tetris as its free app of the day.
This version of Tetris is the same as the classic game you’ve come to know and love, although it’s got a few extra twists this time:
Experience a new twist on the original gameplay in Magic Mode. Achieve each level’s unique goal to complete it, and employ an arsenal of tools to clear away blocks:
• Minimizer
• Bubble Wrap
• Magic Crayon
• Wrecking Ball
• Smashdown
Amazon’s Appstore has been seriously lacking in the quality of the free apps lately, so I’m glad to see a title like Tetris make the cut. Hopefully, this is a sign of things to come, and we’ll start seeing some more awesome names for free in the coming weeks and months. One can hope, right?
