It’s October and Seidio has some brand new cases they’d like to give away to some lucky iPhone 5-owning Pocketables readers. Up for grabs this time around is the Seidio ACTIVE for the iPhone 5, with or without kickstand.
The Seidio ACTIVE is a light shock-absorbing case with interlocking layers that provides a reasonable level of scratch and drop protection while still remaining light and not sticking to every piece of pocket lint. It comes in at 2.2 mm thick and (if the kickstand model is chosen) features a pop-out kickstand to prop your phone up while watching movies.
The case includes an exoskeleton which provide some extra protection at the corners to ensure that the places your phone’s most likely to get damaged in a drop have extra protection.

I love how quick the 4G LTE is, compared to my previous phone!
With my iPhone 5, I love how snappy it is. The display, though in my opinion could still be a smidge bigger, is amazing for watching videos. It’s my first iPhone and I must say that the speaker is really loud and clear compared to some past phones I have had.
Iphone 5? I love it because it’s an apple!

I just got my iPhone 5 last week. First of all, it looks so tech savvy because it’s thinner so it looks more sharp. The handset is slightly bigger which gives it a more high-tech feel, as least I think so. I need all the help that I can get when it comes with screens. I’m blind as a bat so even though it’s not a huge difference, the screen is bigger and the resolution is so much better.
Seidio’s a great case company. I’d love nothing more than to protect my iPhone 5 with it.
The A6 processor in the iPhone 5 is no joke! As a long time android user, I was very skeptical about making the switch, but I decided to go for it, and so far it’s a major improvement in speed and functionality from the Evo 3D. I’m very happy with the switch.
I may be late to the party, but this screen is awesome. After moving up from my old blackberry curve 8330. I love not only the size and resolution, but also the color accuracy of the screen.
Personally, I love how much faster it is than my old iPhone 4, which was really starting to show its age.
Having made the switch from Android to the iPhone 5, I love the resources available on the iPhone 5 to me as a musician. For example, with iStomp, I can connect a foot controller for my guitar to the iPhone 5 and control a limitless number of guitar effects downloaded through the iPhone app. This allows me to use one foot controller and my iPhone 5 instead of carrying around a multitude of effects pedals. This type of innovation is as useful as it is convenient.
I love how fast/responsive it is especially on LTE.

The free (included hotspot) which allows a mobile wifi connection anywhere you can get a cellular signal is extremely useful and I’ve utilized this feature quite a bit already!
Being in a profession that requires me to tour for a living, I really love the iPhone5′s ability to capture great video, and then having apps like iMovie to make great edits right on the phone itself. From there, I can instantly share the video across any social media platform I wish. It’s so convenient to be able to capture and edit quality video tour blogs right from one powerful device in my pocket, and then the ability to instantly share those videos to my fans around the globe is just awesome!
