Just on Wednesday we talked about how RIM will be shipping six BlackBerry 10 devices this year on various US carriers, but didn’t know much about the actual devices. Today, however, quite a few new images have come to light, which appear to be official promotional shots. Thanks to these images and a product page from Bell Canada, we now know at least one specific release date and at least a little bit more about the devices that may be released.

While the promotional images that were released don’t reveal too much in terms of specifications, they do give us a good look at some parts of the BlackBerry 10 interface. In addition, they show off the Z10 model BlackBerry 10 phone in both black and white. It certainly isn’t too much information, but these images have me even more intrigued by the potential of BlackBerry 10. At least in terms of design, RIM seems to have done quite a few things right.

The product page from Bell Canada is hardly definitive, but it lists a “street date” of February 28th for the first “Bell BlackBerry 10 device.” I wouldn’t be surprised if the smartphone in the images above is announced at RIM’s January 30 announcement, and hits the streets on the 28th, at least in Canada. As you can probably tell, I for one am getting more and more excited about BlackBerry 10, and can’t wait to see what gets announced and released.
