Google Nexus 5 by LG now officially available in red

The Google Nexus 5 by LG is now officially available in a third color option: red. So, it turns out that our prediction was right (we love it when that happens!).

The new color option launched earlier today, at the same price point as the white and black variants of the device ($349 for 16GB and $399 for 32GB). At this point, it looks like it’s only available through the Play Store, although it’s definitely possible that other retailers will sign on soon. In the UK, Carphone Warehouse has managed to get exclusivity over the red version, and will go on sale tomorrow morning at 6:00 a.m. Carephone Warehouse is even matching Play Store pricing, too.

According to LG, the Nexus 5 in red will also be available soon in Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia, Hong Kong, India, Japan, and Korea, along with even wider availability in Europe by the end of this month.
