Poll: Have you been/Are you now affected by the mobile outages in the southeastern US?

at&t

Are you located in the southeastern United States and experiencing intermittent outages on Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, or T-Mobile? If so, you’re not alone. A unique problem with AT&T’s landline network, which provides the backbone for all four of the nation’s largest mobile carriers, is affecting customers in Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, and Indiana. Down Detector is also confirming these reports, with all four carriers showing a marked increase in issue reports.

All of the carriers involved have acknowledged the issue and say they’re working hard on a resolution. AT&T also stated to Re/Code that its “engineers have pinpointed a hardware-related issue and are working to restore service as quickly as possible.”

Still, this does little to appease angry customers, some of whom have been unable to use their phones as intended since last night.

We want to know: Have you been experiencing any of these issues yourself?
