If you’re a rooted user you might not have noticed, and if you’re not you’ve probably had this pop up asking you to update recently. Sprint’s begun pushing an update which brings the firmware to version 1.80.651.1.

It lists camera improvements, system and power enhancements, and some Google security updates.

If you’re in the root crowd, you can grab a copy of the Sprint firmware over here. There’re RUUs for pushing new images,  2PS6IMGs for  flashing in download mode on S-OFF devices, and a method to push via fastboot.

It appears you may have to relock the bootloader if you’re S-ON, which will wipe the device when you unlock again. This is why I’m S-OFF. Seriously, Sunshine is worth it.

Not seen anything different or majorly better yet, but been busy today, and up until a little bit ago only had the firmware, not the ROM. If you notice anything let us know.

Bad Boyz ROM was updated about an hour ago to include whatever the changes made were.

Thanks to Deslok for the image and letting me know that that update happened.
