I havent been able to create a driver for the viliv n5 using emgd 1.10. Can anyone else try. People at the Vaio P have managed to get it running for their system.

You can try the one I made for my umid mbook SE ; the default resolution is 1024x600.
For Windows XP : http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZPNT3JA3 For Windows 7 : http://www.megaupload.com/?d=16XA0AM4 They work fine for me, and so far, the driver for the N5 has always been the same. |

Hopefully, the umid mbook and the viliv n5 have screens that are connected using LVDS (fpd-link) *and* using a sort of EDID (the screen sends information to the graphics chipset about the modes supported and the timings).

Doesnt seem to work. Whats funny is that the inf settings that used to work for 1.8 also doesnt work with 1.10.
