Free Faxing of Word Documents?

Before installing each of the numerous Fax apps out there, I thought I would first ask if anyone has already found a decent Fax app that will allow me to send at least a one page Word document to a fax machine for free.

As far as I remember, Popfax gives several fax pages in trial mode so you can test this thing, if you like.
They also have a good service - everyone who I was asking about fax service (I was resolving this issue for myself not long ago) said it's a comfortable service. i'm using it for a month and a half already and I'm really satisfyed with it for now
