PDMI-Port broken somehow

OK, my old Dell Streak 5" has a small Problem.
The PDMI-Port was completely broken.
No charging, no USB connection using several cables.
Got it completely replaced on warranty still . . .
Now it charges again, at least, but still no USB-Connection to Computers . .

Anybody have an idea?


And much to my surprise, it came back with 2.2.2 installed, instead of 2.3.3 . .
Could this be a solution to the problem?
If so, which image am i going to need?

Further tests show that USB connectivity is simply not aknowledged by the device.
Android 2.2 is installed, it's a completely new/replaced device too . .
USB Mass Storage does not work.
Tethering does not work either.
Charging Battery works on computer and usual charger devices . .

I am running out of ideas here x.x
