FYI - size limit is 7.6 gigabytes
Discovered that today the fun way. I read they had unlimited and thought "great, time to put all of my old albums up" nope... 11,165 photos, 7.6 gb, data liberation claims that's 100% |

It shouldn't... Google advertises it as unlimited for all pictures uploaded through the Instant Upload feature in the Android app. If you're uploading pics to Picasa, they have to be under a certain resolution.
If there is a limit, Google better make that a bit clearer! |

Looking around, kids like seven something gigabytes done via Web page upload is the max.
Looked in data liberation, shows 100 percent on picasa, which I never had an account at. Test will be now to see if I can synch ten more gig via instant upload. I can upload two or three images a day via web |

Try downloading the desktop Picasa software. You can set it to automatically upload all photos, and you can make all the uploads automatically stay under the allowable resolution for unlimited uploads.
That what I did with all my photos to back them up, since I really don't need them to be super hi-res. Haven't run into any issue yet, and I'm not using any of my Picasa storage allotment. |
