Default Htc view

I purchased an EVO View from Sprint and no longer use Sprint as a carrier. The tablet is nice and useful as a WiFi devicefrom my Verizon hotspot. What are the possibilities for this device as far as ICS or rooting the device. Warranty obviously isn't an issue but would rather not have a brick with several hundred dollars invested. Any advice?

Really not one response. Can an Android system for wifi only be installed without Sprint limiting options?
