Lumsing Grand A1 Series Mini 6700mAh charger review

The Lumsing Grand A1 Series Mini 6700mAh charger is a portable device that can recharge the average phone twice fully from dead and then some left over for charging another phone.

Unfortunately my unit wandered off with only one blurry picture taken of it. Enjoy this mfg product shot.

It peaks at 2.1amps off of one USB-out, does not support the Qualcomm Quick Charge spec, but it’s a pocketable device that will do what it says it will.

It’s also got a flashlight, but I wasn’t particularly blown away by it. I think I’ve become a lumen snob and this wasn’t what I wanted.

The unit has two LG batteries in it, so the back end of the device comes from another manufacturer, the front end from Lumsing.

Where the unit loses ideal pocketability is the need to have a cable. I guess I got spoiled with the all-in-one portable chargers and hoped that trend would spread further than it did. I guessed incorrectly. Oh well.

I used the Lumsing Grand A1 Series Mini charger for about two weeks before it escaped my clutches at a local event. During that time I initially was unimpressed with the charge delivered, but after two full charges it seemed to be exactly where I thought it should be.

I’m not sure if a couple of charges did anything or it was my charger that failed to juice it up, it was not what I expected twice, then was. Who knows. Couldn’t reproduce after. I’ll  blame my equipment because the cable I was using to charge stopped working a couple of days ago.

Overall, it’s just slightly larger than I’d like it to be, but at the price it comes in as a fairly inexpensive way to have a battery backup for your nights on the town.

The Lumsing Grand A1 Series Mini Portable Charger is available from Amazon for $16.99

I’m told there may be a Pocketables discount code coming, so you might want to wait a hot second to purchase that.
