Goo.gl being discontinued, everyone panic

Google LogoOr not. In a year the URL shortening service goo.gl will be phased out, however all existing links will be working for the foreseeable future. Got that? in March 30 of 2019 you won’t be able to make new goo.gl links. The horror. Those old links you have? Never going away.

They’re moving to a new thing, still supporting the old links, and this really is just more of a nudge to developers to use Firebase Dynamic Links or go to Bit.ly or something.
