Shortlisting for group planning rolling out for Google Maps

Ever dealt with a group of people trying to decide where to go? Ever reconsidered your thoughts on murdering people for being indecisive? Well Google Maps may now have something just for you.

Short listing for group planning is coming to Google Maps. Simply long press an item on Google Maps and you can move it to a shortlist. Lists can be shared in group chats and voted on in Google Maps according to the feature blog.

So get ready to be the first to add Boaty McBoatface as a location for lunch and win the so-2016 award.

Google will be rolling this feature out, and you will have to explain to your friends what all this means. But if they can’t get that do you really want them as friends?
