Urban Armor Gear Monarch Galaxy S10+ Case review

While I had my S10+ I had Urban Armor Gear ship me a Monarch case for review. I’ve been a fan of the Monarch series for a while (three phones of mine,) and honestly without one of these cases it just doesn’t feel like my phone.

The case fits without a fight, protects, without messing with the edge screen, and pops out enough in front so that a face-down drop doesn’t damage the screen (unless there’s a rock or something there).

Cutouts are perfect, the spine of the case adds some rigidity, and the buttons are textured so you have a pretty good idea when you’re on a button and which button it is (in case you have the phone upside down.)

The UAG Monarch boasts a lot of specs for drop worthiness, but I’d say the best example I can give it my iPhone-destroying friend who’s been through more Otterboxes than one has a right to has still not managed to destroy it (he destroyed the phone dropping it 25 feet from a scissor lift onto a beam, but the case was not involved in that).

You can wirelessly charge through it with most wireless chargers, but due to the size of the Plus, most wireless car chargers don’t quite fit around it and the Monarch, so there’s that to consider.

Overall, great series of cases, which at the price they are new they better be.

As my S10 Plus heads back to Sprint, the case sits here waiting for a new owner, so if anyone’s in Nashville and wants an amazing case drop me a line.
