T-Mobile offering four 5G lines with unlimited data for $100 a month

Starting August 2nd, existing or new customers, including small business, four lines for $100 a month ($25 per line,) with 5G access, unlimited data. Postpaid. If you don’t have a 5G phone you can get one for $5 a month.

On the downside, it appears that the plan is on T-Mobile Essentials, which is subjected to speed controls when the network gets congested. If you drop a line the price of the other lines go up $5 a month.

The data deprioritization is the only concern to me at the moment, and I think it’s something only IT people are really going to have much to worry about.

So yeah, I’m going to investigate this 4 lines for $100 jibbajabba as I have two lines and am paying more than that monthly.

(on further investigation, hotspot limited to 3g speeds which sadly is a deal killer for me)
